When our gal pals Holly + Amanda over at Greenhouse Picker Sisters invited us to be part of a bohemian inspired styled shoot with a group of some of our most favorite wedding vendors, we didn’t think twice before we said “yes”. We know that anything that these girls are involved in is going to be amazing, and the promise for print publication in The Southeastern Bride Magazine, was just sprinkles on top of an already decadent sundae!
Everything about this shoot was perfect! From the soft sherberty color palette to the rustic venue that Rock Quarry Farm, in Chapel Hill, NC provided as the backdrop. It was all perfectly swoon worthy, from the jaw dropping florals (Diane at Bowerbird Flowers never disappoints), to the boho styled Claire Pettibone frock from our favorite bridal boutique (and neighbor), Gilded Bridal. This shoot really did take the cake. And speaking of cake!!!
How absolutely devine is this trio of yumminess from our Glenwood Avenue neighbor The Cupcake Shoppe?! I promise the cake was just as delicious as it was beautiful (just one of the perks of participating in a styled shoot! THE FOOD)!
The food is what gets people gathering, and it’s no different at a styled shoot!! All of the vendors have been working hard to make everything perfect and we welcome a yummy spread that does double duty as something amazing to photograph and snack tray for hungry wedding pros! Beau Catering certainly hit it out of the park with this delicious cheese and fruit display, grilled summer veggies and savory canapés.
Check out more of the simply stunning details from this shoot including paper by Indigo Envelope with ribbon by Silk and Willow, ring box by The Mrs Box and ring by Trumpet and Horn, macrame wall hanging by Mosshound Designs. Breathtaking table top was provided by Cottage Lux, and our bride was given her gorgeous look by make up artist Michelle Clark, and hair by Charlotte at The Parlor at Northridge with a headpiece by Twigs and Honey.
Thank you SO much AJ Dunlap for the spectacular images and for allowing Lil Photo Bus to crash your party, and to Cheryl-Ann of Kast Events, for doing the hardest job of all…. pulling it all together, to make beauty from madness!! We can’t wait to work with everyone from this dream team again very soon!!
